The Leedons Multi-Sports Community!

The Leedon Children's Multi-Sports Community is a vibrant hub of activity, catering to families residing in The Leedon Condo, Leedon Residence, D'leedon, and Leedon Green. From our humble beginnings at these 3 Condominiums, we've expanded our reach to bring quality sports programs to children across various residential communities.

Sports Community with The Leedon Condominiums

Building connections and fostering a sense of belonging through sports.

The LEEDONS KIDS with Dreamers Sports Lessons

What sets the Leedon Sports Community apart is our unique approach to fostering connections and building a strong sense of community among residents across The Leedon Condo, Leedon Residence, D'leedon, and Leedon Green. While our sports programs are conducted at different condominiums, the distinctive shape and design of these residences create a shared space where parents and children come together to participate in our activities.

One of the key strengths of our community is the close collaboration between our coaches and residents. With a group of registered swimming coaches stationed within each condominium, we are able to deliver tailored swimming lessons that yield tangible results. Many of our coaches are also residents themselves, facilitating seamless scheduling and coordination, especially during inclement weather conditions.

The LEEDON Camps & Outdoor Bonding Sessions

We organize occasional camps at external venues such as indoor sports facilities or outdoor spaces. These camps provide residents with the opportunity to further immerse themselves in our sports community while enjoying a change of scenery and engaging in exciting new activities.

At the heart of Leedon Sports Community is our commitment to more than just teaching sports skills. We strive to cultivate a sense of belonging and camaraderie, forming a sports tribe where residents share common values and support one another on their athletic journeys. Through conscious sports coaching programs, we aim to nurture the next generation, instilling important life lessons and values that extend beyond the realm of sports.

Child's Sports Journey: From Playful Explorer to Young Champion

Guiding children from playful exploration to skillful sportsmanship, our program nurtures growth through age-appropriate activities. Join the fun journey!

Ages 2-3: Explorers on the Move

Introduction to Movement and Play

At this age, children are just beginning to explore their world. It's not the time for structured sports like tennis or competitive swimming. Instead, we encourage activities that promote walking, running, jumping, and balancing. Think of playtime in the park, playful dancing, or simple catch games with soft balls. It's all about fun and basic coordination!

Ages 4-5: Little Athletes

Gross Motor Skills and Basic Sports Introduction

Children at this stage are ready to engage in more structured play, but still, the focus isn't on specific sports like soccer or tennis. Activities that emphasize gross motor skills are perfect. This can include basic throwing and catching games, beginner's gymnastics, or playful obstacle courses.

Ages 6-7: Rising Stars

Fine Motor Skills and Team Play

Now children are ready for more teamwork and can start engaging in team sports, although in a non-competitive way. Think beginner's soccer, basketball, or simple relay races. The emphasis is still on fun, coordination, and basic skill-building rather than competition.

Ages 8-10: Young Champions

Specialized Skills and Sportsmanship

Children in this group are ready to explore specific sports more seriously, such as tennis, swimming, or soccer. However, the focus is on skill refinement, understanding rules, and sportsmanship rather than winning and losing. Exploration and finding joy in the sport are key.
